Family Life

Jesus came to earth to offer deep, rich, and never ending life, but we are often tempted to pursue some counterfeit to this true gift. Money, power, beauty, sensuality…no earth bound creation or comfort can fill us like the gift of love that God’s Spirit grants to those who are in the family of God.

As a disciple of Jesus, we look forward with great excitement to the life that is beyond what we know here on earth. Living eternally in the presence of our Father defies our most extravagant effort to dream.

However, there is no need to wait to begin experiencing the blessing of heavenly living. God’s Son offered meaningful life as a immediate possession, in addition to an eternal hope.

Here at the Bayside congregation we are not merely interested in staying busy until Christ returns. Yes there is kingdom work to do, but we believe that the process of obedience to our divinely given purposes brings fulfillment and joy. There is life in this church! It originates with God, is made available through Jesus, empowerd by His Spirit and is embraced with gladness by his people.

I hope that as you explore this section of our site, as with other sections, you will see a manifestation of the life that is inside this body of believers.
