Mike Lucas
Preaching Minister
Mike Lucas is a West Virginia native. He is a graduate of Ohio Valley College (‘77) and Oklahoma Christian College (‘79). He has also done post-graduate studies at Harding University Graduate School of Religion. He holds the B.A. in Bible & Religious Education. Mike is currently in his second year of the MDiv Program, Practical Ministry, at Regent University, Virginia Beach.
Mike has served in full-time preaching ministry for 33 years and has worked with churches in West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia. He became the Preaching Minister for the Bayside church in June, 2000.
Mike & Kim (his wife of 34 years) love life with their adult children; Brandon, Tressa, Autumn & Paolo Barsanti; and their grandson, Gabriel Pierce Barsanti.
Mike enjoys being a grampa, writing, telling & hearing corny jokes, working on the lawn, rooting for his beloved WV Mountaineers & Pittsburgh Steelers, spending time with his favorite “grama” … and sharing Jesus. (Just ask him!)
