What We believe
We believe …
In the Trinity – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit; that these Three, though distinct in identity, comprise one Divine Eternal Being, the Godhead, united in thought, purpose, and action; that the Trinity purposely and supernaturally created and sustains the universe and all life.
We believe …
In the Bible – as the God-breathed and preserved written revelation of the Trinity made available to all mankind; that these writings are the message of God to mankind revealed and conveyed by the Spirit through the words and personalities of those prompted to speak and write; that, in this body of writing and through the convicting work of the Spirit, the Trinity calls mankind into fellowship with them; that the teaching, guidance, and directives revealed in the Bible are completely sufficient and authoritative to determine our faith, purpose, and conduct.
We believe …
In Jesus Christ – who, being God and man, was conceived supernaturally and born naturally; that he grew and lived among us at the Trinity’s chosen time in history; that he revealed to mankind the essence of the Trinity; that He proclaimed the good news of salvation and relationship with God, the Father, and brought the kingdom-rule of God to the lives of believers; that he performed many signs, wonders, and miracles in order to confirm His identity, convince all of His authority, and to display the love and compassion of the Trinity for all of mankind; that he was crucified, buried, and was bodily raised from the dead in fulfillment of the scriptures.
We believe …
In our Need for Salvation – that sin and disobedience to the Divine Intent of the Godhead separated us from the Godhead and has created such a human need; that human beings are absolutely dependent upon the power, grace, and work of the Trinity in restoring us to our original spiritual design; that our need for salvation and spiritual restoration is met only by the sacrifice of the perfect, sinless Son of God, Jesus Christ, in our behalf; that it is the literal death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ that brings forgiveness of sins, restoration of fellowship with the Trinity, and spiritual renewal to our souls.
We believe …
In One Church – as God’s collective family in the world; that all who accept salvation through Jesus Christ and who turn away from sinful lifestyles, acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord, and are by water immersed into Christ are added by God Himself to His family of believers; that in the body of Christ, there are no differences or distinctions as to race, gender, class, age, or social status, but that all are fellow disciples of Jesus Christ and co-equal brothers and sisters in the family of God; that God has equipped each person in His church with special gifts, opportunities, and resources in order to serve both God and his fellow man.
We believe …
In the Unity of All Believers – that all believers in Christ make up one body with Christ as our Head; that, therefore, no denominational distinctions, man made religious organizations, or party spirits are warranted or authorized; that the Trinity is the exclusive Judge and Determiner of those who are in fellowship with our Eternal Father; that all believers are responsible before God to maintain the unity that we have received through Christ.
We believe …
In Our Mission – to bring glory to God with our worship, work, and obedience; that our lives are to be a source of constant praise, both in frequent times of corporate worship and in our lifestyle; that as we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, love and edify one another, and meet another’s emotional, spiritual, and physical needs, we reflect the image of Christ and bring honor to God.
We believe …
In Our Eternal Destiny – that Jesus Christ will one day return from heaven to Judge the world and reward his faithful followers by giving them entrance into heaven, the eternal home of all believers; that, since we do not know the exact time of His appearing, we must live each moment in obedient anticipation of His return.
